This is what the devs says about its campaign which is still being polished: You can never tell till games are released what they are like and what their limitations are (they all have them) but definitely worth watching. And it does also have skirmish and dynamic campaign play. Wargame has a major issue with the AI knowing exactly where your units are when hidden, which Regiments doesn't have so that is one very good factor it its favour so far IMO. Yes it would be awsome but you have to understand most 'mainstreamers' dont have the attention span or IQ to play such games and with the amount of work you are talking about it would be hard to achieve ground breaking level profits. Shared game mechanics, the option to play with either front-line or zones etc. The legal issue with Eugen is no excuse, they could easily just release such a title under the Steel division frenchise- Steel division '79-Fairytale' or whatever title. Just mind-boggling that Eugen refuses to make a worthy successor to Red dragon. They could still earn a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on DLC, the playerbase wouldnt be so fragmented, and such a title would certainly grab a substiantial market position in the real-time-tactical genre, if done properly. Wanna play ww2? Great, just tick it in the server filter! Wanna play modern era games? Tick off modern in browser filter! Not just a shared launcher, but 1 game with access to all time-eras. Would be great if they just re-did all the titles, 1 wargame to unite them all.
